Martin B. Hartono

CEO of GDP Venture

Martin has a strong passion for gaming and technology, combined with a wealth of experience as Djarum Group’s Business Technology Director, led him in founding GDP Venture, a venture builder focusing on digital communities, media, commerce, and solution companies in 2010.

Martin loves teaching. Besides running GDP Venture as CEO, Martin spends his time mentoring local talents at the Founders Institute Jakarta. He believes, with the right mindset, process, infrastructure and determination, Indonesia can breed world-class technopreneurs, engineers, product developers, marketers and internet companies.

Martin is also an avid photographer, grappling enthusiast, basketball player, guitar slayer and doting father of three. He said, “Loving what you do is the best gift anyone can have.”

Rajesh Purushothaman

Vice President of Manufacturing, Asia-Pacific, National Instrumnents, Penang

Since joining NI as an intern in 1994, Purushothaman has held several leadership positions globally and regionally in supply chain, new product introduction, manufacturing engineering, operations, logistics, and product services. He was the lead for the NI site selection team that picked Penang as the Asia-Pacific hub for NI. He also serves as the managing director of NI Penang.

In addition, Purushothaman serves on the Board of Penang Science Cluster, an organization dedicated to the promotion of science, technology, engineering, and math education in Penang, Malaysia.

Purushothaman holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Calicut and a master’s degree in operations research and industrial engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
